I think the NOT BL Batman's ability to make Lines-of-Fire drawn through Grave Markers become BLOCKED can help to keep this GIANT figure protected. It's a pretty obvious strategy: stand Nekron in a Grave marker and try to use his Giant-size/Steal Energy/Heal-past starting-line to creep him up his dial. It may be worthwhile starting Nekron at the middle point value for this strategy.
