Your favorite figure of each Rarity? And why? Wheels of Vengeance Edition.
After seeing the list of heroclix for the Wheels of Vengeance set, here's my list which ones are my favorite of each rarity and i wanted to read what's yours:
Common: Blade #003.
Him having hypersonic speed makes him a great first hitter, the B/C/F also adds to being a menace, if you have a good roll. My other fav part of the dial is the super senses and shape change, very hard to hit. Him having the TA team player can make him more efficient to hit (if copy the Avengers TA) or harder to be hit (if copy the Spider-Man TA) and is that versatility that i like a lot. Although still not sure how i feel about the 85 points.
Uncommon: Elsa Bloodstone #017
Although the first part of her trait is conditional, being only effective againts characters that can heal after hitting her, is the second part that i really love, because of the number of character of this set that have the mystics TA.
Precision Strike is always an awersome standar power to deal with impervious or a bad roll of B/C/F. But is the second part of that power that can make her efficient againts certain figures of this set.
The Avengers TA is a good bonus, but my main complain would be the lack of Running shot/sidestep of her first clicks.
Rare: Orb #036
His trait is my fav part of this figure, as someone with incredibly bad luck, this a heaven's send.
And his second trait is interesting, although very conditional to getting more than one +1 modifier in one action (and the flurry, which you might need a terrain marker or a specific map to make it work) make this the kinds figure that might want to attack close but here's the issue, is that defense in the first clicks that limits him.
Thank god it has precision strike i those last clicks, helps with getting that damage go through reductors. And the prob is always welcome. For 45 points this figure is a must have for me.
Super rare: Cthon #042
The fact that he can choose himself to use his trait is already fantastic. idk how viable it is having a 11/13/20/6 with 9 range, but i don't care, i want it so bad just for fun and the possibility to make him comeback after being K.O for one last F-you to your opponent.
Willpower of 3-6 means that he might be attacking each turn and 4 stop clicks can be very annoying. Good thing that he has steal energy and flurry in those last clicks but that can only lead you so far. Good thing about the shape change.
He cannot reduce penetrating, so the mystics TA is a huge problem.
Chase: Namor #053 (at 145 points)
So here we have a figure that can use hypersonic speed, go through an opposing character, put a water terrain marker in the square of that figure and use flurry as free...and not only that, he can use flurry and then flurry as free (if the character is in that water terrain)...the same as Blade, he's an amazing first hitter.
Picking a good choice for his Avengers TA can bring that 12 to a 13 attack. And with two stops clicks, this is an awesome figure. Although one can say that his dependence of water terrain can be his main drawback and is his lack of penetrating damage can be counter by good rolls of impervious/super senses.
Him costing 145 points is also very heavy, you need to take advantage of his abilities to do multiple attacks to be truly effective.
Anti-monster or mystical is good against said opponents.

Master Breathing Techniques Willpower.//Opposing characters within 4 squares that can use Willpower only succeed on a 6. Besting Shou-Lao the Undying When Iron Fist attacks one or more opposing characters, modify his attack +2 if any of the targets are multi-base or have one or more of the following:
Monster Keyword Champion of K'un Lun Charge, Force Blast. Force Blase as FREE, but only to target an adjacent character.
He complements Elsa very well, ability to make Willpower rolls only a 6 within 4 squares is going to hurt on.
Super Rare:
Hey, its Ghost Rider, I think a very good representive piece of our flaming friend.
Chase:
The "I Hope You Have Good Insurance, Bub" is very good, maybe slightly broken.

Salu Digby as LeVIathan in clix!
“I used to be a heroclix player like you, then I took an arrow in the knee.”
I love how threatening this Vampire can become, while simultaneously being pretty easy to take out. It feels like a good balance for the vampire dial mechanic, and it’s a generic I want a ton of!
Uncommon:
The Hellcycle is a very cool way to do vehicle mechanics, and I also think it will open up some interesting strategies in the competitive world. in general it’s one I’m really looking forward to building with.
It’s Dracula. And he makes Vampires. Enough said!
Another very fun design that could be devastating to your opponent and possibly yourself! The flavor text and function of his abilities are just fantastic, and this really marks what a prime should be in my mind.
The chase theme for Wheels I’m not as big on, but for the sculpt alone, I have to own this figure. His dial is no slouch either!
This slot almost went to Night Nurse, but there are already lots of good medics in the game. Mummy (and N’Kantu) have a much more interesting role that I would love to try out at some point.
Uncommon: Blackout
At first glance, I didn’t think Blackout was that great on paper. However, I played him in sealed and boy did he deliver. Rushing someone for 4 damage and then just nuking their Toughness/Invulnerability/Impervious is really good. I’ll definitely be trying him on a Poison team at some point.
Rare: Orb
I love Orb. Just such a goofy-looking character (even if both of the ones I pulled at the pre-release were broken!). This dial is awesome, with a lot of clicks for just 45 points and the fact that he practically never misses an attack. I managed to get +2 atk on almost every attack with him in my 3 games. For context, with his trait, the only time his 13 attack is missing against an 18 defense is if he rolls 2-2. Regardless of his attack value, a 1/3 chance of a crit on any attack is a win in my book. I’m really looking forward to making him a horseman of Apocalypse.
Super Rare: Brother Voodoo
My wife and I are going as a witch doctor and voodoo doll this Halloween, so this figure is one I want to snag for sure. Plus, the amount of utility he puts in at 30 points is crazy.
Chase: Namor
Aw man. I admittedly destroyed the one I faced in the prerelease but the sculpt is too good to pass up and he seems like he’d go great on water teams.
"Let me put it this way. Have you ever heard of Plato? Aristotle? Socrates?"
Common: Frenchie. Believe it or not, his handout of CCE, Perplex, or PS/Enhancement are going to be bonkers.
Uncommon: God help me, but it's going to be the Motorcycle. Giving BTU Clayface Charge and Senses is something I never expected to need in this life, but it's going to be so good.
Rare: Moon Knight. Because I have the LE Moon Knight as well, and that's going to be hilarious to pull off.
Super Rare: Headless Horseman. There's going to be so many Pilot tricks up this guy's sleeve, I can't wait to try them out.
Chase: TIE: Namor/Wolverine. Two great characters with dials that are just nutty.

Common: Night Nurse Claire Temple. With Daredevil being my favorite Marvel character. I can finally run all of the Netflix Defenders/Marvel Knights series members.
Uncommon: Elsa Bloodstone. This is more a sentimental pick, just barely over Dracula.
Rare: Daimon Hellstrom. Been waiting for years to finally add him to my classic Defenders team of Dr. Strange, Hulk, Surfer, Valkyrie, Hellcat, Nighthawk, & Namor. Still deciding if I want to get just one or both of them.
Super Rare: Rawhide Kid. This was the toughest choice for me since the Headless Horseman and 048 GR-Johnny are also badly wanted. But I went with my childhood favorite western character that Marvel published.
Chase: Namor. I can finally replace the AvX version with one I feel is better for my Defenders team.
Biggest disappointment: Iron Fist. Where is the Marvel Knights keyword? Hopefully its added by the errata. Until then I'll use the ADW Fast Forces version.
Going to need a lot of these boys(see my chase selection).
Uncommon:
Motorcycle - Dial not in Units yet
This makes so many lackluster pieces that were made lately so much better.
Rare:
Honestly just looks like a blast to play and I love Marvel Knights.
Super Rare:
Dial is thematic and has a really cool concept plus I loved the OG Voodoo Prime.
Chase:
Number one want in the set, cannot wait to play the hell out of this figure. I've been waiting for a new one ever since we got the old one waaaaaaaaay back in Captain America that I played into the ground as well lol.
In sealed he's a must. Has something for just about every Vehicle and makes the power vehicles even better.
Uncommon:
How can I not:
I love anti-Mystics tech and she has a few going for her.
Rare:
probably toughest call for the 5 rarities, but since he's the only one I've played on the board:
7 clix for 45pts?! There is no formula anymore! Kidding aside on the right map this guys is stupid fun, has PC, has Vehicle kw for Vehicle shenanigans, and the Watcher's Eyes is a insurance policy. Could have easily put Danny Ketch GR, Hellstrom, or Death Rider here.
SR:
Pulled him in sealed and was everything I hoped for:
The man himself, Johnny Blaze is in the point cost you want for adding a Frenchie and a nice pilot; Midnight Sons has some cool pilot possibilities, although I do like the last click or AV4E GR: HSS 10 speed, 4 dmg exploit, 12 attack.
Chase:
even though I'll probably never get any of them:
I like the fun here. I want to try him with Man-Thing and Danny Ketch GR from this set for Defenders nonsense or with my new Surfin' Gingerbread Man.
Special/Legacy card? No category for that?
Really like that they brought back the ASM Ghost Rider, he was a legend in his time and he's back, very similar and only 80pts!
Wanna trade? Check out my H/W list -------------------------V
Any Ghost Rider is at least a good Ghost Rider, IMHO, and I love that this dude brings Shape Change and Steal Energy as a rider.
Uncommons:
021 Blackout
Never thought I'd see this guy in the game. He's a favorite villain of the 90s Ghost Rider run, and I'm excited to field him.
Rares:
036 Orb
Another dude I'd never see in the game. He looks bonkers good-- better than any version of the character has any right to be.
Super-Rares:
039 Zadkiel
This is just a list of freshly made Ghost Rider villains, honestly, but Zadkiel is nutterbutters good. I plan to pair him with Legacy Jennifer Kale so he has literally no downside and having 048 Ghost Rider to harass and play clean up.
Chases:
056 Vengeance
This guy wins by default because it's a major unclixed Ghost Rider heel... but I dislike the dial. It doesn't act like Vengeance, and even if it does, it seems hella overcosted to me.
PAH Kits:
099 Ghost Rider
F*** yeah, this dial! Finally a Ghost Rider who's as devastating as he is in the comics-- a dude fully capable of wrecking Galactus' s*** or giving the Avengers a terrible day.
Legacy:
L042 Jennifer Kale
I won't lie, she deserved a dial this set. While she's ok paired with a Man-Thing, she was tailor-made to make Zadkiel go from awesome to godly... and as it's his goal to be God, it kinda fits C;
Adjacent friendly characters that share a keyword with Night Nurse can reduce penetrating damage is sick.
Common
Being able to give out Charge and Running Shot with a speed bump, lets go.
Uncommon
Pump up range and place TWO adjacent Monster or Mystical keyworded characters 9 squares away and they are still able to take actions, sounds okay?
Rare
King of the Underworld, Ghost Rider and adjacent friendlies don't care about your Outwit or Pulse Wave (if they have a reducer or evade).
Super Rare
Capwolf and Legacy Hulk forever besties. Potential 12 attack with Precision Strike and 6 damage for free, with Bark at the Moon. Not to mention, a pilot that your opponent has to hit a minimum of 3 times to score 0 points.
Chase
Wishing for competitive Judge Dredd figures for Modern Age...WizKids are you listening?!?!
Since I do not like any of the Commons and Uncommon's especially due to their lackluster sculpts, I will submit two of each other rarity for what it is worth.
Rare's: Iron Fist #027 and Dracula #026
SR's: Ghost Rider #048 and Headless Horseman #046
Chase's: Namor #053 and Capwolf #055.
