____Ten answered the call and made their way to Alaska. They arrived by trains, planes, ships, and any manner they could, given that transportation was not easy during that time in the early 1970s. The ten ranged from circus folk, wannabe psychics, thieves and con men pretending to be mystical heroes. None of them could be trusted, but quality was scarce in so little time. They all claimed to have their own reasons for reaching the facility, but if they were honest they’d say it was the reward.
____A job at Ceres, the most cutting edge facility in the country and a fat paycheck. Who wouldn’t want that?
____The first few reached the airstrip a few miles out from the facility and made their way on foot through the frigid snow and ice. They came from some circus, or freak show, popular outside of New York. First was the pilot, Eclipse, a young woman in a beautiful gold suit that claimed to fly a small craft faster than anyone else. She was followed by Astros, the man who wanted to one day fly to space, but his gorilla-like appearance made that impossible. In the back was the Strongman, a freak with blue skin who had not dressed for the weather, but didn’t seem to mind. And then there was another, smaller in height and furry in appearance. A squirrel in a suit, if someone didn’t know any better. Called himself Joe.
____On the North side of the facility, a small cargo ship pulled into the dock carrying more of them. A handsome man in a blue trench coat sauntered out first, smiling at anyone he saw while flipping cards between his fingers. Behind him was a woman with red hair, a while suit, and a cigarette dangling from her mouth. Most wouldn’t notice the secret rifle.
____“Excusez-moi,” said the man in the blue trench coat as he bumped into the redhead “You’re striking.”
____Her eyes scanned him and she smiled. “Oh you flatter me, luv. My name’s Elsa.”
____“Je m'appelle The Captain, but you can call me whatever you want.”
____“Well The Captain,” she said, reaching her hand towards his pocket. “If you touch any of my shlt again, I’ll bury that silver tongue in the snow.” And she withdrew her own wallet from his pocket before walking off.
____“The Captain loves a challenge,” he said with a glint in his eye.
____They arrived at the entrance of the facility and met up with the liaison for Ceres, known only as Locke. She wore a purple corset, black top hat and seemed to know a lot more about the ten than she let on.
____“So what is this about?” Asked Catsilk, a woman in a suit with red webs and black goggles.
____“You’ll know soon enough.”
____“Look with all due respect,” said a man with blonde hair in bizarre red armor. “We traveled a great distance and we’d all like to know what the point was.”
____His objections were interrupted by the final member to join the group, a young woman with glasses and purple hair, carrying a stack of grimoires. As she reached them, her books scattered to the floor and she bent to pick them up. “I’m sorry I’m late, I heard…Well it doesn’t matter.”
____A woman in green rolled her eyes. “Purrrfect, more tag-alongs.”
____Astros bent to help out the young woman and they exchanged pleasantries. Her name was Jessica Roth, but he’d likely know her as, “Nevermore.”
____“The one who can speak to the dead?”
____“Something like that,” she said.
____“A charlatan,” said the woman in green. She bent down and slid her finger along Astros’ jawline. “Don’t waste your time. I’m Pluto, and I have something you can help me with instead.”
____Locke interrupted them with a wave of her sword. “Now that the final member is here, you may all follow me. I must warn you, grim tidings await.”
____She led them past the hustle and bustle of the main areas, down one of the great hallways and towards a lab that had since been abandoned.
____Locke sighed and turned to face the group. “There’s been an outbreak. For days, scattered reports trickled in about workers going missing and the sight of bodies being seen in dark corners and work stations. We’d send teams, but they’d be gone before inspection, as if they just got up and walked off. Well after an eye witness account about a recent worker named Michael, we decided we couldn’t take any more chances. You’re here to figure out what’s been killing Ceres staff and where the bodies have gone. If you do this, and you uncover this mystery, you’ll be offered a job here as enforcer. And I don’t need to explain how coveted that may be, now do I?”
____Murmurs and whispers traded through the group.
____“How long do we have?” Asked the man in red armor, known as Brand.
____“One week. After that, we won’t be able to hide what happened here any longer. You will stay in the bunks and investigate when you can. But be warned, stay together. We don’t need anything happening to you too.”
____“And if it does?” Asked Nevermore.
____“Hazard of the job, luv,” said Elsa as she stepped forward. “Let's get this done with, shall we?”

____ 1) At its core, this game will follow the basic rules of mafia, which includes majority voting. If a majority vote is not met, then the target will not be eliminated.
____ 2) Do not reveal any messages I have sent you, unless given permission to do so. This means you cannot quote your roles verbatim.
____ 3) Do not edit your posts after you submit them to the thread.
____ 4) All players have win conditions. If you're town you win when the mafia are gone, if you are mafia then you win when only your team remains. If you are neutral then your win condition will be explained in your role message.
____ 5) The alignments were chosen randomly, and the attacks will be mysterious, so feel free to RP your characters if you want to. The writeups will not spoil who is mafia, so any hints to alignment in the writeups are purely coincidental.
The first thing I can think to do is stare at Locke. I'm used to being the prettiest girl in the place, but here she is being all gorgeous. I don't know whether I'm jealous or secretly in love.
Honestly, one of the biggest things I was excited for was not only to see if I got this combo, but if I did get this combo, which of their proud backgrounds and heritages he'd be based on! French/Cajun or Australian lol. Guess we know.

A remote location, an outbreak of some sort. Missing bodies. I'm sure we'll be fine.
Really? for me it feels like my last game was 2 months ago. but on any case time don't work on me like work on the rest of the wold.
On any case I'm really surprise with this of the characters be spell on the intro. majority of times big part of the game is figure out who is who, I can't imagine how write outs can be write without spoil the characters, mmm thinking about it I have an idea. but lets wait and see!
