& wearing the invisible trunks.... the Banana munching- New York Airplane Swatter!
Please post your predictions below
They say the best weapon is one you never have to fire. I respectfully disagree. I prefer the weapon you only have to fire once. That's how Dad did it, that's how America does it, and it's worked out pretty well so far." Robert Downey/Tony Stark
I think if Kong can manage his token free regeneration, then he MIGHT have a shot....otherwise I think Doomsday will pull out the win MOST of the time.
Timey Wimey Wibbley Wobbly.... just not in that order....
Between Kong's STOP, Regeneration, and Impervious, there's just no way that Doomsday can KO him.

Don't forget that he can also use Regeneration normally. That means means four times every three turns. (Turn one: POWER, turn two: POWER/FREE, turn three: FREE.) Stack that on top of 3-6 Willpower and make that six times (statistically).

Kong would be waiting for a miss to actually attack but I see no failing in this logic.
Can’t Kong win like… mathematically? He has multiple stop clicks with regen, and doomsday only has flurry if kong allows it. Without the ability to double tap, Kong can always use regen when on his stop clicks (free or otherwise) and doomsday can’t do anything about it. I know Kong can roll a 1 and heal nothing, but he can regen again as FREE in that instance.
Never say never, but unless Kong gives doomsday flurry, he just wins on the fact that he has STOP/regen/regen as FREE. The only way around that is multiple attacks per turn.

What? He only has Regen on the STOP clicks. He can only use it as FREE with two tokens. Now that's a pretty good consolation if he fails to clear a token, but opting to not attack and instead try and Regen twice (once as POWER and then FREE if that fails) is... an iffy prospect.
This really comes down down to two things:
1. Map choice. Does Kong get enough elevated to be able to deal penetrating to Doomsday once Doomsday hits his Imperv clicks?
2. Kong's Imperv Rolls.
Doomsday is going to be hitting first (way bigger reach), harder, and more often if you let him take the Restraint token off. If you don't let him remove the Restraint token, then he has 11 STOP clicks, and if you miss your imperv rolls, steal energy on five of those clicks.
So edge is Doomsday's, but dice could easily swing it to Kong.

Hitting that 20 on Doomsday is gonna be tricky for Kong if Doomsday hits him first. But once that's gone it's probably downhill for Doomsday.
It's all in those opening attacks.
This is the only way that Kong is passing his own STOP:
[...]
Turn 2. Kong fails Regeneration. // Probability: 0.17% // (1/6)=0.17.
You've got a typo there.
Doomsday, once he hits the back half, is just going to keep healing, as he's more likely to hit with his consistently higher attack than Kong is to keep hitting Imperv rolls and heal via steal energy. In a timed game, it's likely just going to end in a 0-0 tie, especially if Kong loses map and doesn't get to do penetrating damage.
Kong's only way to get the KO in a timed game, especially if he loses map. is let the restraint token come off, and then Doomsday gets to attack twice a turn, upping his chances of knocking Kong past each stop click.

Something to consider is that even if Doomsday only has to roll a 5 to hit Kong, with Impervious, Doomsday's missing almost half the time, 44%.
1-(30/36)(4/6)=0.44.

Anyways, I may have to play it out. It will probably be too much for me, though.
Ok, I'm putting the re-match on pause. We're up to 27.5 rounds.
Doomsday has made 25 of his 28 Willpower rolls.
I think that the mistake that I made with Kong was electing to attack, instead of using a non-free Regen. I FREE Regen'd after the attack, and rolled a 1.
Kong winning is really a matter of keeping him above his first STOP click.
Like I've said, Doomsday hitting + Kong failing Impervious + Kong failing Regeneration, in that sequence, is extremely unlikely.
From my last game, I learned the lesson that if you have 1 action token on a STOP click, you should use Regeneration as a POWER, so if it fails, you can use it again as FREE.
I don't think that my two trials connote a winner, yet. The first game was very bad luck for Doomsday; the second game, I made the mistake with Kong that I mentioned, and Doomsday made 25 of his 28 Willpower rolls.
I learned something from Joe G. I thought Doomsday was going to get hit with penetrating damage... however Doomsday is only a giant.
(Cue sad Trumpet)
