Gargantua and I are borrowing on an old theme, Civil War, up and using X-Men for the focus here.

One slight difference is that we each have a lead Avenger. That character can draft any figure with one of his keywords to their side. Once they’re koed another figure assumes that role. To keep this with an Avenger feel each side must have at least half of the figures as Avenger related.

Okay, so there's a lot of synergy stuff going on here. Spider-Man is giving the whole team Super-Senses, and Dynamo is making it so any figures adjacent to him, their Defense powers cannot be Outwitted. And remember, both Dynamo and Sentry have their DVs boosted +1

Lots of things work with HSS now that never used to (PB,CCE,Blades) but Pulse Wave is still not one of them. Pulse Wave still requires a full Ranged Action where HSS just allows a close or ranged attack.

Same logic that it's always been. Wizkids just took away the full action requirements on a lot of powers that are just always on now.

Really? Could've sworn we'd use characters like the old Super-Nova for hit and run pw attacks.
