Suggested Equipment:

Soul Gem A needed increase on defense + Steal energy with close or ranged attacks.
Red Symbiote for Close Combat Action BCF & Steal Energy. 2 bolts means 2 targets!
Soulsword could take some focus off of him due to the Mystics damage.
Warlock sword for the Shape Change
