Here we are, another Gargantua and flyingicarus production. Three games that go to 10k each. All Heroclix are welcome.
Each time we pass 1k we get a new HO and LO and three extras in the form of feats, ID cards, special objects, tarot cards...whatever we like. Those may be used once per game.
As usual with these games we also each place two teleporters and give us once a turn free movement for a figure between those porters.
Another map with lots of layered Elevated. Let me know if you think it's too hard to read though. Some of the Blocking, at least, the thin brown lines blend in https://rogueeffect.com/forum/map/ma...s=abcfdbcaabde
Red is elevated, so all the rest is lower. There are 'doors' around the elevated so non-fliers can move.
Two levels of elevated. The gray terrain that takes up a lot of the right side is lowest elevation. The next level up is all the green stuff (which is not also all Hindering - it's clear otherwise) And the darker grey that form the top, bottom and left borders is the highest elevation. But a good amount of stair spaces on the map, as you noted.

Not sure what to call AB1 or worse, spots like JK17, 18....hindering?
Yeah, bright green borders, so those squares C7/8, B9, D19-21, are all Hindering too

Anything else to clarify which I'll inevitably forget halfway through the game?
Couple small areas of blocking that are hard to read as such. The two squares at I/J3/4 and N/O3/4 and the two rectangles at B/C11 and B/C16 are all blocking.
Feel free to veto the map choice if you think it's going to be too difficult to work with.
"My liege, the enemy band approaches," Kala Jor-El said.
"Let them come. We'll be ready," Diana said.
"Seer, what can you tell us about them?" King Jefferson asked.
"They come from the future," Madame Xanadu explained, "Traveling through time to get here. Some even come from...other planets in space," she added, realizing that sounded unbelievable.
"Other planets. Bah," Green Man said.
"Princes?" the king asked.
"It doesn't matter. Whether they're from the future, outer space, or just the next kingdom over, we can stop them. We have to," Prince Kal said.
"My Robins are already doing reconnaissance," Bat-Prince said.
"Jingle bells, Bat-Prince smells, his Robins laid an egg!" Harley Quinn sang loudly. Bat-Prince glared at her. "What? Just doin' my job," Harley laughed.
OK, examples again: P2, highest elevation, P3 the lowest. N6 is the middle.
I don't 'see' blocking. Maybe it's me but I'd call those clear (using your example of BC11). I don't think I see anything that's obviously blocking on the map and if it looks clearly blocking to you then let's use another map please, I'd play it wrong.
If you're ok with the above then let's do it. Hope I'm not sounding pushy, don't mean to be.
You're right on for the elevations, but the lines for blocking are so thin and blend in so well with the map art, yeah, it is super hard to see them. So scratch that choice.
Switch to Brazil - and the one thing we need to agree on is that 3x3 square in the center. Going strictly by the map design it's a pit, lower elevation than the rest of the map. I'm fine if we want to say it's Elevated instead. https://rogueeffect.com/forum/map/ma...s=abcfdbcaabde
Calling it elevated gives us some advantage, just to have any elevated. Also creates targets. Assuming that's what you want to do, I put an ho there and a porter, reserving the right to change those if you decide you want the red area as intended. I'm good with both.
