Now that I've started Judging, my players are trying to hit me with every odd question they can find...
MC: When used in a chain (I.E.- I MC an opposing MC character and use their MC to MC another figure) who takes the point value clicks for the second MC? In other words, does the second MC character take 1 click per 100 pts. of the character they are MCing?
Incapacitate/Enhance: can these be used together to cause one click of damage?
Thanks for the help in clarifying these...
"Perhaps the reason so many people get lost in thought is because it's such unfamiliar territory..."
- unknown
the second person doin the mind control is the 1 that takes the damage b/c he is the 1 controllin the 100+ point figure
enhancement w/ incap does 1 click of damage unless the have toughness or inv/imp those absorb the damage
whomever is MCing the figure over 100 pts is taking the damage. example: MCing someone's morgan le fey to mind control 300 pts worth of her own team would result in 3 clicks of damage to her (and 1 to the MCer on your team as i'm fairly sure she is over 100pts)
i believe that now there is a distinction between "no damage" (Mind Control) and "0 damage" (incap). 0 can be increased by enhancement (and probably SHIELD), "no" cannot be increased
Lying to myself was never the problem.
The problem was when I believed.
MC and TK attacks that result in "no damage" mean that crits do no damage. On the flip side, crit failures don't either.
Inc has it's damage reduced to 0. Enhancement will work on a ranged Incapacitate.
Not real sure about the MC chain. My gut says that the fig doing the controlling takes the damage (in the above example, Morgan), but I am no judge and sometimes common sense has no place in this game. (e.g. LE Kirigi/Elektra is an arch-enemy to Hand Ninjas)
What is the timing on the incap/enhance? Does the target get a token from the incapacitate, take pushing damage (if applicable) and then take the click (if appropriate) from enhancement?
