March 31, 2004 (SEATTLE) — WizKids Inc., makers of the best-selling Mage Knight™, MechWarrior®: Dark Age and HeroClix® collectable miniatures games (CMGs), is proud to announce a new online store, which offers a wide variety of WizKids merchandise through partner Café Press.
Beginning March 31st, customers can order a variety of products with various WizKids logos on them. Additionally, this online store will offer WizKids Venues and Envoys an inexpensive prize alternative for Venue-Supported events. The store is located online at http://www.cafepress.com/wizkidsgames/
Popular MechWarrior and Mage Knight factions are available on great products including shirts, hats, coffee mugs and more! SportsClix and HeroClix are featured on similar products. The store will also offer limited edition products with special art work created exclusively by WizKids artists! Current limited edition products include items with the map of the Mage Knight Land, satirical WizKids "factions" for MechWarrior, and concept art of warriors from Mage Knight and 'Mechs from MechWarrior.

I heard the word cheap somewhere in there - but these look more like they're retail than "cheap"
If they were going to bother could they have used actual art like the ones that show up on the website (you know .. actual ART) instead of plain logos that show up on a small section of the t-shirt (that you could do w/ a simple custom iron on if you really wanted it)
mageknight gets faction logo t-shirts..... why can't heroclix get team ability t-shirts?
Copyright issues I imagine. Wizkids owns all the MageKnight logos. Same reason they didn't do art. Probably didn't have the rights. I'm sure they can use the names and images on the figures and boxes, and even advertising, but when it comes to doing T-Shirts, etc, that's money that's coming out of Marvel and DC's pocket.
gee thanks a lot Jordan, can't wait to buy a tie chock full o' heroclix logos.
Can't you sell me some carp with your face on it too?

Wow, they jacked up prices on boosters supposedly to fund making of Heroclix but then they come out with carp like this? They're really hurting for money here.
10-2-08 I just put a bunch of stuff on eBay including a numbered Super Skrull Illuminati and a CoG Galactus. Check it out.
I like most of the stuff they have. There is no price hike conspiracy because they are charging for these items seperatley and have paid for them that way as well.
I imagine if you play Mage Knight or Mech Warrior this stuff is cool.
But as comic collectors we've had t-shirts and other junk forever anyway. No point in WK doing it.
I also don't see the need to be outright rude about it either, Nighthawk.
