If I push my own character to death that has not taken any damage from an opponent, how do the victory points work?
Obviously the points would be deducted from my surviving total, but would my opponent get the KO points too, or would they just be nill?
Common examples of this are; pushing Alicia Masters and Mary Jane pogs to death, or with several figs having only 3 clicks of life, like R & E Scourge, pushing and or Critically Missing and getting KOed.
Without ever taking a hit from an opponent.
Azs, I guess I dont know officially but I always thought if my opponent pushes a fig to death that I have not damaged, that I do not get the life points.
Page 24 of the rulebook:
"Points for characters who were KOd from pushing or from using a power are awarded to the opposing character who most recently damaged the character. If no opposing player damaged the character, split the victory points evenly among all opponents.
Wow, so if you are in a battle royal and this happens, the other three opponents would split the points. But, in the case of a single opponent, he'd get them all? Interesting. Definately pays to be careful when pushing, eh?
Unless you're close in group game. If its close, and someone's going to get major points from one of your characters, might as well slow it down with the pushing. By making them split the points, no one gets a huge advantage.
