I would also like to add that the current art in New Avengers is sloppy, lazy, and just plain bad. How did this guy get to draw Marvels best selling title? (though David Finch has been going steadily downhill ever since he left Ultimate X-Men in his art quality IMO)

First, his power level isn't in question. In the comics hes been called the most powerful. Hes shown to be incredably powerful by doing things like; taking a full blast from Terrex not even flinching, breaking every bone in Hulks body, and taking on Collective, who took out Alpha Flight, Ironman and a fully powered Binary without breaking a sweat, taking him off his feet (Binary flying through him didn't do that), into space, punching and moving back in space etc... And in the handbooks and on the offical website they have listed as a Silver Surfer/Phoenix level being. While his power level isn't in question, I can understand not respecting the character as much as a Thor or a Captain America becaues of his lack of a history.

Second, I do like how they've brought him back by introducing him as the "heavy" in the Avengers, its a good, strong place for a new character. I do like how Bendis is respecting the mini and not pushing Sentry while the mini is still going, they aren't getting ahead of themselves. While I wanted more action in the mini, the story telling is needed when introducing a new character and spliting him and Void is a must, and I like the idea that Bob is the Void, and Sentry is the counter balance.

Last, Maybe the mini should have been started sooner to get this story out of the way quicker. Marvel has not show cased Sentry the way they should, they've established his power level but not show cased it.

I read in CSN Weekly a few weeks aog, that it was on the table.
