A writer actually reading source material?!?!?!?! Are you mad?!?!?!?!
Anyway that Mockingbird thing was resolved. I can't for the life of me remember what issue it was but it was in the Thunderbolts and I think it was an annual.
Bobbie wanted him to go to hell to perform a rescue from Mephisto. So Hawkeye led the T-bolts to Mephisto's realm to rescue his dead wife, but it turns out Bobbie actually wanted him to rescue Patsy Walker because Mephisto planned to use her as a hostage against Hellstrom. This did all occur in a Thunderbolts annual (2000), and it is how Patsy Walker came back to life.
JTR - as far as Kristi (?), MJ's bulimic niece who lived with them for a time... I don't know what happened to her either. She just kind of disappeared.
HeroClix needs more Goblin.
Acceptable in such forms as Green, Grey, Demo, Hob, Ultimate, and "Menace."
Well, I learned during the time that Alan Moore was writing Supreme that any character, no matter how lame or derivative the concept, can be written well. When enough people write the character well, over a number of years, then the cries of "this character sucks" start to ring hollow.
It seems the only thing you have against She-Hulk is that she is one of many characters who are part of the female-version-of-a-male-hero category, a long-standing convention of superhero comics. Like many other conventions, sidekicks, inefficient deathtraps, skintight costumes, secret identities, etc., it can seem pretty goofy. Many of us choose to embrace the goofy conventions and learn to love them. If that one, specific goofy convention is too much for you, well then I guess I can't argue with you.
Yes basically good writers find a way to make anyone, even the poorer character concepts, interesting. That was what I was saying.
My problem isn't with She-Hulk in particular or long standing conventions though. My problem is with Marvel's more recent fad of tossing great writers onto bland characters, usually creepily feminized versions of their more mainstream characters, while at the same time allowing those more original characters to wither under less talent.
Still in fairness JMS has done great work on other things, but he sure was lousy on Spider-Man. I guess his selling-out to Stark was just prep work for the Mephisto debacle.
Don't know much about the new she-Kraven and don't want to either.
Rogue, Scarlet Witch, Black Widow, Valkyrie, Elektra all > than character concepts like Thor-Girl or the new feminized Vision robot. My fault for not being that into trannie super-hero characters I suppose.
Sorry for continuing this tangent, but I had to respond.

In the case of Dan Slott on She-Hulk, though, it wasn't a case of throwing a well-established great writer onto a bland character.
1. Dan Slott, prior to She-Hulk, wasn't known to be a great writer. I'll bet most people prior to that series had never heard of him. The only thing I recall reading of his prior to that comic was an issue of Justice League Unlimited, that while good, certainly didn't hint at how good he'd turn out to be.
2. She-Hulk, by the time of that series debut, was already well past the point of being considered a bland rip-off. She had been written well by John Byrne in Fantastic Four and her own second series, for one. I'm not sure how many writers of Avengers over the years continued to use her, but there were several. The bland image that I admit she'd had in her first series had long since been cast off. She has functioned very well in a way that a well-written Hulk character never could. She's well beyond being simply a rip-off of the Hulk.
...now, if we can just get Professor Pyg confirmed.

This statement just weakens your entire argument and makes you seem like a very intolerant and judgmental person.
She-Hulk is not a "trannie" super-hero character. Neither is Thor-Girl, Ultimate Vision, Spider-Woman, or Batgirl.
Jennifer Walters gained her powers from a blood transfusion from her cousin, Bruce Banner, the Hulk. However, she is not as powerful as he is, maintains her intelligence when hulked out, and is a completely different and interesting character on her own. She's not "What if the Hulk had boobs?" She's not Bruce Banner, or the Hulk. She's not even close. If she had the same powers but turned blue instead of green and had some other name like Power Woman she would still be the same great character, and yet your reason for hating her would seem gone. It seems like you're judging her as a character by her name and the color of her skin.
How do you feel about Ms. Marvel? Originally she was little more than just a female Captain Marvel, but she has grown into so much more as a character and is now more important in the Marvel Universe than he is. Is she just a trannie super-hero character?
Does it matter that Spider-Woman 1 and 2 have nothing in common with Spider-Man? No shared history, or even shared powers?
A transvestite, by definition, is "a person, esp. a male, who assumes the dress and manner usually associated with the opposite sex." I fail to see how this term applies to any of the characters mentioned in your comments. She-Hulk is not simply the Hulk in woman's clothing. Batgirl is not just Batman in a skirt. Thor-Girl is not Thor in a bra. Spider-Woman is not Peter Parker in lingerie.

You might be right, but, man, the visuals you just gave me. ~shudders~. And now I'm also worried Joe Q will read what you posted, and next years big event, instead of Ape Planet, will be "Transvestite Planet".

Hulk would smash, but Hulk just had nails done. Hulk no chase bad guy either. Hulk just bought darling Manilo shoes. Hulk no clap and cause big storm, cause Hulk just had hair done.
Now where puny insect man with silky panties for Hulk. Hulk chaffing. When Hulk chaffs, Hulk gets mad. And When Hulk gets mad... Hulk's lipstick smears. Hulk hate that.
ARGH !!! Hulk need pedicure. And bikini wax.

OMG, talk about scary visuals. *tries desperately to rip out own eyes*
I just don't see the point with playing a game with such a diverse background and flavour as Heroclix and such a massive pool of pieces to choose from to limit yourself to playing dupes or the same character over and over.

Speaking of visuals I'm sure there was one issue of She-Hulk where she went for an Avengers physical and was asked by the physician to "turn your head and cough".
