Contradictions (with past stories) are ok because his is the only story that matters in the end.
I wonder what Jim Shooter would've done/said about the story, were he still EIC at Marvel.

I don't like it when writters ignore continuity, but I can forgive it if the story is good. I thought the story was rather bad and the continiuity Bendis couldn't follow was his own. Ouch...

Funny, when it was supposed to fix most of the continuity flaws.

Most of those flaws it was going to fix were created by the same writer, kind of like what Cuz said earlier. I don't think it's fixed any flaws.

I dont' think anyone pays attention when you mention it. There are a few sticky threads (one that's been closed for a long time now) and no one unsticks them.
