Bah, I play maybe three games in a year, and I get killed N1.

The Cult status on JoH was the thing I was missing.

He had such a good first night claim, but then didn't die. It didn't even occur to me that he would have been subverted. And the sad thing is, I must have RT'd the dang cult leader, but had no way of knowing it.

So, after looking over the list, I see that this game was basically won on night 4. We just had to go 4 more nights until we could figure out K-ness and JoH's subversion.

As for changing the cult bit, I don't think any thing 'needs' to be changed. It makes things much more difficult to figure out who's doing what, and why people are behaving the way that they are. On the other hand, you gave us lots of clues in the write ups, we just didn't get it.

I was the vig and I didn't succeed with one action until I I hit the bomb the night I died. Haha. I was actually failing every night in Street Fighter as well, so I was having some pretty awkward times in Mafia.

Here's what I loved:

My role. I was excited when I saw I was the serial killer. I have only had the role one other time, I believe. I was looking forward to the challenge. And my night one target, sorry Ignatz, was actually a good choice if I was a vig.

I also loved how I lasted for so long, especially after my almost-OMAC moment of outting myself. I did my best to play it off as a framer (and couldn't believe that worked for as long as it did).

Here's what I hated:

Being recruitable and having my power changed. This ultimately unbalanced the game and made winning nearly impossible. Posting the roles for all to see was fine until you take into account that my power was not listed, therefore making me look like a liar. I was actually being honest about what I could do (well, mostly). With the roles posted, there was no way to claim honestly. Also, giving me a 50% chance kill power meant Jack and I had the hardest time in the world pulling off a win since we needed everyone else dead.

Still, it was good fun. I only wish I was here for all of it.

You also only targeted Town save for Night 1 when you targeted the Jester (but were MDed into Town, but then blocked).

Yeah, he was the SK and was recruited to a 50% RB. It was an experiment, and I think that part needs to be tweaked for next time.

Yeah I thouht I was PMing you. I hit Reply or Quote instead of PM while distracted and posting fromt he phone. And just so we're clear, the reason I PM'ed Quebs, was because I totally misunderstood what you were saying. You didn't quite tell me that Quebbs beat me to claiming the replacement, you just said "Quebs beat you to it." This was my PM to you:

No where did you say Quebs beat me to claiming the replacement player spot. I thought you meant that Quebs beat me to Editing the post, since he's a mod, and that is what I was talking about in my earlier post that you were quoting. To me when someone quotes something, they are pointing that out as a point of reference. I misunderstood, hence why I PM'ed Quebs with "good work" or some such. I thought I was congratulating him. Again apologies to those involved, I hope I didn't mess up anything.

BTW, not at all mad at you about it. Thought it was kinda funny, and a simple mistake anyone could have made. I should have been more clear about Quebbs though.
