for those who are still in doubt I have taken the liberty to search for you. Quoted from Normalview vie rules of combat forum: "Unvaoidable damage is always taken by the recipient. There is absolutely no way to avoid, reduce, or otherwise get out of it. This includes Hulk.
Pushing damage is similar in that it can be ignored, but only by game effects that specifically say "ignore pushing damage". Limitless Rage does not specifically mention pushing damage, so Hulk can be damaged with pushing damage."
@PONX I think you are a bit mislead by the term unavoidable damage. yes it is unavoidable in normal scenarios (can't be reduced or evaded). BUT remember that a character card with specific rules will override the common rule. that is why they specify the power. remember that they have the normal rules in mind when they write these powers. so if they say ONLY damage from an attack that is doubles, than that is what they mean.

@poparazzi456: normalview is a rules deputy(those guys in orange that give out the final ruling on tough question here in hcrealms.) that's who I was quoting from. So if you have an issue with the correct way of playing this hulk take it up with the Deps.
A horribly broken figure that is not fun to play or fun against. He may not seem broken, but that one click, you have to face it to find out. If you get very, very lucky, you may take him out quick. If you don't, he will completely destroy your team with no problems. And all of that for 55 points if you AE him, which is incredibly easy. F:a-sharpshooter::a-sharpshooter::a-sharpshooter: this Hulk.

So, not that this piece needs to be any better playabiliy-wise or anything, but um, has anybody thought about using this beast as MM fodder? Especially when you AE him @ 55 points, not many people can't MM down to that.
This is the best hulk by far! For 55pts he will run down your figures and kill then all.Can he be stopped?Yes but not by whinning! If he get to his sweet spot you will be in for alot of trouble.
I pulled this piece in my first Hulk 400 pt sealed and managed to wreck shop. For 193 points, this piece can decimate swarm teams but against higher point pieces you have to hope your dice roll well. That last click is fun to play, but it's a total crap shoot. I've been knocked out on the first hit by an opponent's doubles some games and other games I've wasted figures because an opponent couldn't hit it. It's a fun piece, but I wouldn't put it in any builds unless it was an AE.
I love how this Hulk works. I like to call him "Tribal Hulk" due to his look. The last segment of the dial is nasty, which is why he comes in at 1 life from the AE.
@AppCheft65 - Damage dealt to a figure via Mastermind is not an attack. Hulk's trait specifically says when he would be dealt damage from an attack. He would be terrible MM fodder.
yeah this hulks pretty good, set him up with a character with an 18 defence value that has defend and that last click becomes down right and straight up NASTY!!
