He deserves a three at least. Everyone in Gotham got a three damage some with exploit and if Spidey wanted to he could pick Batman up and rip him in half Sentry style.
Heh, not everyone in Streets of Gotham has 3 damage + exploit. But yes, some inaccurate Batman pieces have damage that's too high. Three damage on Robin, for example, is absurd. That doesn't change the fact that this is an accurate Spider-Man, who in point of fact can do more than 3 damage when you use his Super Strength and CCE. To me, this combination of stats and powers on Spidey is perfectly comic accurate - high attack, high defense, and low natural damage boosted by powers. That's Spider-Man. If you give him *at least* 3 damage, as you suggest, you turn him into a standard brick who isn't really Spider-Man. But maybe I'm too influenced by the stories I've read. I like the Stan Lee Spider-Man best, who isn't that powerful but uses cunning and speed to defeat his opponents. I see that reflected here, in a very interesting way.
I like this Spidey, and with all these morphs, you will be able to tweak your team in-game. Not a damage-dealing powerhouse, but able to deal enough Spidey-damage, IMO. Also, I don't recall a Kirby/Lee era Spidey, perhaps you meant Ditko/Lee, Kirby did do the pencils on AF#15 and Amazing#1 though. Which I bring up as it correlates to people's main complaints about the low damage here. Lee supposedly got a look at Kirby's designs for Spidey and rejected them because Kirby's Spidey was too much of a powerhouse looking character, a "Captain America with webs", or so it has been reported. Lee turned to Ditko, who designed him more lean, a finesse-type hero, like these Spideys in this set can be in a clix game. With Super Strength and perplex to up the damage when needed, no range except for incapping (what a great representation of webbing up an opponent!) and the Hypersonic( really a sub-hyper if you think about it) to get his "improved movement" without the uber-IM cost. I like it!
HSS and an excellent anti-stealth trait mean he is a good guy to keep around in the "Spidey Golf Bag", but I'm still disappointed by this dial and its low damage and lack of keywords.
It's funny that people seem to not like the figure from a playability perspective. I think he's great. I look at this fig, for 125, and think "If i took away super strength, improved movement, spider man TA, and the incap trait, but left him at 125 pts...he'd be a flash that everyone would rate as 5 stars". If we are talking accuracy...he probably should have improved movement hindering as well...but hey, that's just being picky. Also considering the morph options for the 125 level armor spideys...he is fantastic in my book.
"Hello, I'm your neighborhood friendly Spider-Man and I'm about to swing up to this rooftop. Just...let me get around... this shrub here... and AWAY!!!"
I don't understand everyone’s complains with not having Improved Movement: Hindering terrain....it would be redundant and silly. He has Hypersonic speed that you can use any time, even when you don't attack someone so you can ignore hindering, then...you get L/C so you can ignore hindering again. Look at the figure before making blind judgment. His movement is great.
I don’t mind his Dmg either, only grip I have is some top dial outwit or the avengers Keyword. I don’t want to have to get a chase Iron Spider just so I can morph it to him and have a theme team, it wouldn’t be bad if the Iron spider wasn’t a chase. :ermm:

Where exactly are you getting the idea that Hypersonic Speed allows you to ignore hindering terrain?
This is a great Spidey, and I really like the new take on the character. He's got the move-and-attack via HSS that everyone has wanted. He's got the Incapacitate trait which is good, as Spidey should always be able to use Incap—the LoF bonus is just icing on the cake. TK on a Spidey makes complete sense. I don't mind the low damage values as you're forced to play creatively, using objects via Super Strength or TK, using Incap, or staging for a big punch with Close Combat Expert. My only complaint, as most others have pointed out, is the lack of Improved Movement: Ignores Hindering Terrain. If they were going to grant us with IM: Ignores Elevated, they should've gone all the way and given us hindering as well. Overall, 4/5 stars though, at least.
While there are some good things about this Spider-Man, the low damage kills me. Normal cops and criminals can do the same damage as Spider-Man can for most of his dial.
Here's hoping we get a Vanilla Ice Clix in the next TMNT set.

He can do at least 3 solo damage on every click if you play him with finesse (As Spidey should be played). On all but two he doesn't even need an object to do so. If you want him doing more than that, you don't really know the character. He's known for holding back his strength, even when he could die.
Thats a bunch of BS. Most heroes hold back as not to severly damage opponents, so you have no problem with Superman hitting for heavy damage even though he holds back as not to kill somone?!?. The complaints about his damage and the lack of ignoring hinderring terrain is totally legit. If you dont think so, then you dont understand this game. Not to mention, all the other versions of him have at least one 3 damage value on theur dials.

I play tested this spidey, and while he did well enough with his hypersonic-light attack, his 2 damage top click was a big hinderance. Either give him a 3 top dial or outwit. Those of you that are justifying his low damage claim that it's because he defeats his enemies with cunning and wit, so where's the outwit? No distracting banter or special outwit like we got from the GG spidey, both of which would make perfect sense and make him closer to deffinitive. As it stands, this one came close, but still no cigar. And then there's the sculpt...they've shown that they can do some pretty spectacular sculpts with Spidey here (M10th rookie was pure eye candy), but this one is just...eh. Anyways, that's just my $.02
Add this guy to the the IH205 Punisher and IH021 Dardevil and you have an even 300 point 'Omega Effect' team. If only he had the Marvel Knights keyword.
