Hey guys love your show , i have been listening for about 3 months now and i eagerly await the announcement of a new show to down load. That said i just wanted to say thanks for some advice i picked up on a couple of your shows. Use indomitable. I just started playing heroclix one month ago, before that mainly a small time collector. My first day playing was the first Fear Itself at my local shop i did ok 1-2. Not bad for my first day. This time I landed in third out of 12 thanks to your advice. I used Tyr, Red She Hulk ( common ), and Cyborg from teen titans. Indomitable was wickedly useful. As always I am now looking forward to your next installment.

I just listened to the show, and I have to comment:

It is not logically consistent to claim that a team of GSX Professor X (with Utility Belt), Nightcrawler, Dakken and Archangel is inspired by Giant Size X-Men Number One...because Giant-Size X-Men number one is the one without the Utility Belt, Dakken and Archangel...its the one with Havok, Polaris, Thunderbird, Banshee and Sunfire.

I don't remember that coming up at all...

What is the time stamp of that comment so I can go back to recall the conversation?

It was right at the end of the episode (before music). There had been some discussion about a couple different philosophies of team building...stats based or making weird mechanics based..both of which I can appreciate.

I felt I had to comment only because Steve had tossed out a mild complaint invoking Highlander (with respect to a pair of Klaws) and later talked about how he was inspired by Giant Sized X-Men (and was feeling that he didn't need the utility belt on Professor X)... but then casually dropped that his force had Daken and Archangel ready to slaughter the Asgardians dragged away by Nightcrawler.

It's totally cool for a player to build a team they want to play...but that particular 1975 comic has a rather iconic lineup of characters, and it just struck me as absurd that Archangel (debut 10+ years after GSX1) and Daken (debut 30+ years after GSX1) would have been on that force...never mind the utility belt...was a force I was shocked to here were playing together as inspired by GSX1.
