Yeah, it's going to be a pain fighting her. She is in no way broken. But I do know for certain that if your copycat (that you gave to the opponent) is KO'd THEY get the points for it. Just like if you had Mind Controlled someone and rolled a critical miss and got KO'd. OR the same with Victoria Hand. OR the same with a POSSESSED figure.
You only get the victory points for characters that began the game on the opponent's build. Even though they switch, it is still considered "your figure, but under the effects of her trait."
Not getting the KO points for her doesn't seem like the way she was intended to be. So, if you KO her and nothing else has been KOed would your opponent technically win if the game were to end that way, even though you KOed her?
Exactly. So KOing her isn't a good strategy. Basically, If I were using her. I would try to KO my own figure (that I stole with her trait) as best as I can (like use Shocker and Blind Al and Pushing damage). Then just sit back. IF they start pushing my copycat to death, then Ill try my best to make it roll for shape change to get her back.
She could be a horrible opponent to go against if you have WOS Nightcrawler.
Anybody still using BenCrawler needs to find another Table Top Game to Meta. Seriously, there's no reason to rock that piece otherwise. Must you desire to win THAT bad?

so, do how do you resolve multiple copycats? Could you take their copycat to deny them from taking yours? then get to use "their" copycat's ability to steal a character from their team?
so, what happens when both players have a copycat? Who get's priority? And, what stops the other person from getting their character back?
it depends who goes first and who goes second. the rules say after figuring out who is first. that player puts his/her army in the starting area so if you steal their copycat before them they can still take another piece because her game effect switch with her.
With so many great sub-100 point characters in the game, Copycat's sure to be very effective in most situations, especially if she's the most expensive character on your force, or the cheapest.

Did I call it or what. She got a good errata and clarifications.

I only use him in fun games. Otherwise, my tournament Nightcrawler is the AOE. But otherwise, I would just say that copycat is mean if you have any awesome support piece under 100 points.
If you ever want to play, Come by Kaboom Test Labs in Albuquerque, NM.
Regarding the errata, can you swap her for a unique character if you have the same one on your team (i.e. you and your opponent have AvX Scarlet Witch)?

Like Prime, Unique is only relevant during force construction. Copycat's ability triggers prior to team placement, not construction, so she can swap with a character if you already have a unique copy of it.
