I just watched the episode of TOS where Kirk and Spock get all sneaky and steal a Romulan cloaking device. In the episode, the Romulans were using Klingon D7s. Apparently they traded the Klingons their cloaking technology for some of the D7 class ships.
They aren't great, but I'll try throwing a Romulan captain and crew on a D7 next time I decide to roll Romulans.

some Romulan painted D7's would possibly make me take a second look at attack wing,
To be fair, he offered me Federation and I insisted on Romulans. He may have even offered me Klingon, likely forcing him to play Federation. I chose the 2 Romulan ships. So now I know.
I know Tony from waaaay back. I just could not pass up the opportunity to bust his chops.

Like flakbait says, the D7 does not cloak. For that reason alone, I'd suggest the I.K.S. Kronos One (K'T'Inga Class) as a stand in for a Romulan D7.
Yeah, it bumps up the attack value to 4 which is very "un-Romulan" in the game but the only other alternative would be to use the Klingon Flagship to get Cloak and then you're already bumping up attack anyway.

Good call on the K'T'Inga Class. Looking at comparison pics online, they are essentially the same mold.

They are though the K'T'Inga Class that is in The Collective Blind boosters actually has the more detailed sculpt from Tactics. I actually had already converted a model from Tactics for the K'T'Inga class to tell them apart on the board at a glance. Good to know they will match.
