(Special) Embracing the gimmick: Green Arrow can equip 6 Trick Arrows instead of 3.
(Attack) Emerald Archer: Precision Strike, Improved Targeting: Hindering, Characters. Increase his attack by 2 if he is equipped with Trick Arrows.
(Defense) Arrow Down the (Wizkids Approved) Knife Barrel: Energy Shield Deflection. When Green Arrow is the target of a ranged attack, Green Arrow can use Shape Change. If he has Trick Arrows equipped he can remove on to add 2 to his finalized roll.

OK, let me just say...to this very day...Crisis had the best Sculpts and best dials (for their time). This was my go to Arrow for the longest time and as time went on his stats and points got worse and worse...but the sculpt is still great, and I loved what they tried to do with the dial at the time. So I tried to recopy that with an added bonus...much like setting a Flaming Moe on Fire, Trick Arrows make him good...No offense to Hawkeye but when I think of Trick Arrows I immediately think Ollie and the boxing glove and glue arrows, so I leaned into it heavy. He can use double the amount of arrows, they add to his shape change rolls, and near the end of the dial he can throw whats left at whoever is still standing...

HM: Batman and Wolverine. Ironically I feel the point costs to these two are swapped. I'd rather pay 60 for Wolverine. Batman at 70 feels more right for what he does.

*I didn’t shave as much off their cost as usual because choices to split into in Modern are slim. To justify that point value the Greens you bring in come in at full strength. Decided to take advantage of the peanut base extra adjacency and Defend with an added perk since you are likely going to min max the rest of the team around it. Tentpole Lantern is a very old school play style that hasn’t been relevant in quite some time. Translucent John Stewart and Unleashed Hal Jordan were staples back in the day. And now I feel old…
PS - For those that haven’t played in a while peanut bases cannot be placed diagonally anymore. And if you’re new to the game B&B is the Dooneese of HeroClix sets.

Thanks for the advice! That is one of a few rules wordings that I can never keep track of, either while designing or playing lol

I have a few of the Peanut Bases from this set and it sucks how you can't place them diagonally anymore.
I’m ok with it. When placed diagonally you couldn’t fit other characters in the inner curve squares anyway.
I’d honestly be ok if they disallowed diagonal movement like most tactical games including Mage Knight that spawned this game to begin with, but God forbid they ever make any changes to the general mechanics of the game (enter ‘we will play the old way at my events’ and ‘that’s it I’m out it’s not my game anymore’) like doing away with pushing damage or making Pulse Wave a balanced power.
