Marrina was always my favorite member of Alpha Flight, and having her catch tough break after tough break until she snaps and stays snapped was an interesting turn for the character archetype.
Great Beast Resurrection: SIDELINE ACTIVE: When a friendly character that shares a keyword with Marrina is KO'd, roll a d6. 5-6: Place Marrina adjacent to a friendly character or the last square a friendly character occupied.

Third! Dr Strangelove by The Question! What I like most here is that she’s an easy, thematic and fun way to get a bit of extra oomph out of your robots. That full-map Perplex is great enough as it is, and the extra stuff she can do for robots is icing on the cake if she absolutely must leave the lab. She reminds me of the Dr. Light I designed for my Mega Man set back in days of yore. Fond memories.

And the execution here is spot on. Heroclix for English teachers! I’m all for it.
First! Tangle the Lemur by NeverEnoughDakka. I’m not familiar with this character, but the gameplay options are fun! I really like the idea of snapping into close combat with a range attack so she can then follow up the next turn with a close. She’s dangerous, but not insurmountable. Smart play will get this design very far, but careless play will get it wrecked, and I love that about it.

Thanks for the vote and kind words. The intent was for Celebrity keyworded figures to put on a performance as actors, a la Mary Jane as Lady MacBeth. Kit directs but is likely gone before curtain call. If you’ve ever been part of a stage production it plays remarkably similar. Like HeroClix Community Theatre.

I was first introduced to Wave while wasting my free time in the Marvel Snap card game. In that game Wave's ability equalizes the cost of every card in both your and your opponent's hand, which lets you play high power cards for a steal and makes low power cards cost way more than they're worth. I reflected that in her trait by letting her make every kind of action have the same cost (as long as you're in water, of course).
As for the Tidal power, Heroclix terminology makes describing what amounts to a 4x3 area of effect a little wordy. I based the wording on xmxs047b Nimrod and a bit of uxm024 Cyclops so I think it works as intended as written.

Trying to go for both criteria. If I remember correctly, my guy here might have a few things in common with another contestant for this week, but that intel might be untrustworthy.
To keep a consistent theme, Mimic the Octopus is a main antagonist for Tangle and Whisper - an ex-soldier who sold out Whisper's old crew, getting them all killed in the name of self-preservation and self-enrichment. Tangle, seeking to help her totally-not-girlfriend, joins the hunt for Mimic after he starts impersonating Sonic the Hedgehog and starting a smear campaign to make the people lose faith in him. Criminal underworlds, high-stakes espionage and murderous revenge stories is exactly what I think of when I think 'Sonic the Hedgehog.' Totally.
1. - Limelight451 - Dr. Frank N Furter. Dammit Janet! A toast!
2. - Hesster56 - Midnighter. Beatstick. it's a nicely designed and balanced dial, imo, and he's always doing damage to to somebody.
I love the traits, especially the Bendix-Built Enhancements.
But to me, The Door! STOPclick SP is the icing on the cake. I get why we have stopclicks in the game. This version of the Stopclick isn't an overpowered broken record.
3. - Dragonfly2099 - Julie Power. Simple and sort of a throwback to a simpler time in this game. Straightforward and utilitarian, she'd be a no-brainer for me in sealed.
HM - 2 Gun Kid - Jinny Hex. This is a fun dial and the take on the Equipment thing is really clever and accurately reflects her usage of the trunk.
HM - DestructoBoy - JM. The Willpower/Mastermind SP is nicely done. A lovely gesture all around.
I'm sorry, but this week was really difficult to choose the winners as there were too many excellent dials to choose from.
