Third Place! Max Schreck by ComicJunkie. We could all always use a little more Christopher Walken, and this is a fun, interesting concept to play. I especially like the gift-giving aspect. It feels really true to his scheme from the film.
Second Place! Santa Claus by Hesster56. I've never been the biggest Futurama fan, more a casual appreciator, but Robot Santa was always a hell of a lot of fun, and this captures that fun quite nicely. He's a deadly, dangerous force of mechanized destruction, sure to bring terror to all of his naughty opponents.
First Place! Lex Luthor by 2 Gun Kid. The more I look, the more I like. It's layered with funny references to the source image. His cost? 40 points. His range? Four. His attack values? Four tens. And that's terrible. Out of everybody's great dials this week, this one gave me the biggest smile. It had to get my top spot. Thank you.

Able To Manipulate the Flow of Time Itself!: Super Senses, Probability Control. Friendly characters within Santa Claus's range can use Super Senses. Years Worth of Gift-Giving in One Night: Hypersonic Speed, Super Strength. Instead of Using That Power to Rule...: Penetrating/Psychic Blast, Pulse Wave. Santa Claus cannot deal damage to friendly characters. He Squandered it On Helping Those Too Weak to Help Themselves: Defend, Enhancement, Empower.
Running Shot: Loki! Ymir! You Would Dare? Charge: Avengers! Thank You For Your Assistance! Sidestep: Your Vile Plan Shall Not Succeed! Penetrating/Psychic Blast: Do Not Underestimate Him. He Is a Sorcerer of Unparalleled Might. Precision Strike: No! I Will Not Be Defeated By Santa Claus! Invincible: Son of a Frost Giant and a Light Elf Impervious: Every Bit as Ancient as Ymir Himself Invulnerability: It Will Take More Than That, Fiends!
Significant Appearance: Marvel Super Hero Adventures: Frost Fight! (2015)
Typically, I don't care for the Avengers Assemble animated franchise. It generally feels like the lowest common denominator version of the Marvel Universe, and a very underwhelming replacement for one of the best Marvel animated series ever made.
But Frost Fight is more than charming and fun enough to hold its own. The plot is simple enough. Loki and Ymir are after the powers of an ancient Asgardian sorcerer known as Jolnir, a being of such immense power, that if those powers were to fall into the wrong hands, the entire universe would be at risk. The Avengers clue in to this plan, and move to stop the duo - even Iron Man, who treats the whole thing with skepticism and disbelief.
Of course, he's skeptical because as Thor explains it, Jolnir is who Midgardians refer to as Santa Claus. Yes, Santa is real, and it turns out he's an immensely powerful Asgardian sorcerer who predates even Odin, and has dedicated his entire mystical might and unique ability to control the flow of time to spread happiness and hope to the children of the Nine Realms, by delivering gifts to them all in one night. That's right - it's not just Earth he delivers gifts to - it's pretty much everywhere.
It's such a fun and comicbook-friendly take on the Santa Claus myth that I can't help but absolutely love it. Bonus points - Jolnir is voiced by Steve Blum, most notable among Marvel fans as being the second best Wolverine voice.

Movement: Characters PILOT: Santa’s Workshop: When revealing your force, you may choose a single base character on your Sideline that has the Santa’s Workshop keyword and turn it to any click. Santa’s Sleigh can use the standard attack and damage powers displayed on that character's dial. // When Santa’s Sleigh is KO'd, before removing it from the map, generate the chosen character from your Sideline on its last non-KO click. This game that character can't be healed or replaced, and isn't scored when KO'd. Protected: Pulse Wave. Santa’s Little Helpers: At the beginning of the game generate a 1223-2bt Workshop Elves for each 10 points of Santa’s Sleigh’s point value. // Santa’s Sleigh may carry any number of friendly characters with the Santa’s Workshop keyword even if they are holding an object. Eight Tiny Reindeer: Santa’s Sleigh takes a maximum of 1 damage from attacks and can pick up, hold and put down any number of objects. It may not be equipped, healed or make terrain attacks. Midnight Delivery: FREE: KO an object Santa’s Sleigh is holding and generate the character chosen by its PILOT trait on its last non-KO click and a standard object that character is now holding. You may then give that character a Terrain Action at no cost. After resolutions return it to your Sideline on any click and remove the object from the game. Now, Dasher! Now, Dancer!…: Giant Reach: 2, Flurry, Willpower.

So bright, that light shines from him.: Energy Shield Deflection. characters adjacent to Baldr can't use Stealth. (Includes friendly characters.) The coming of Ragnarok: When Baldr is KO'd for the rest of the game all damage is penetrating. All objects, save for the mistletoe...: Super Senses, Invincible, but Baldr reduces damage by 3. Protected Outwit, Protected Pulsewave. Damage done while using Enhancement can not be reduced by Baldr.
Need a deity for the holiday season? Sure, but I dont think he wants to be caught under the mistletoe.
The dial is based just off the mythology of Baldr. Rather simple. Nearly impossible to hurt, light radiated from him, Loki used trickery and magic to have him killed.
Shadesmar - Santa Klaus
Buying off 'Santa' by letting him heal is a note of humor on this creeping stalker. Otherwise, in a game built around doing damage, he's on most everyone's list of nightmares. Still, he needs luck and careful planning to not walk himself right into a KO, so he feels balanced to me.
Hesster56 - Santa Claus
I went into dial evaluation with no preconceived intention of putting any Santa in my votes, yet takes on him landed here twice. In this one's case, he's here because it's a useful dial that really executes the spirit and functionality of the character choice. He's here, he's mean, and he's ready to sleigh.
Rurouni KJS - Grendel
It's pretty much Blades or chip damage with this dial, but the boost to Precision Strike helps you not feel like you're losing too bad, even when the Blades rolls go against you. The STOP click is really interesting, as well. A bit of a fragile investment, but likely to pull his weight.
Honorable Mentions:
ComicJunkie - Max Schreck
Does his trait mean that up to every character per force can start holding an object at the beginning of the game? That's a lot of extra objects, even for a Unique, methinks.
Kaden - Daredevil
This is close to an ultimate take on a Bullseye dial. However, he doesn't make the final cut because his special attack essentially allows him a 12 range. If he had a range of 4 that he could double into an 8 via ricochet, or if he could only target someone up to 3 squares away from his ricochet point, he'd be here no question. But 12 seems too long, even for Bullseye, especially this incarnation (who was mostly fighting in close-ish quarters).

It most certainly does. Merry Christmas! Signed, your family from Schreck’s Dept Store.
I've gotten into a tiff over this before, so I'll add a disclaimer before any "jimmies get rustled": I really like The Haunted Tank stories from G.I. Combat, and the fictional Jeb Stuart, tank commander, is an American hero. And also my top want from the next DC set, just beating Kamandi. Anyway, my handling of his ghostly ancestor is equal to how Wizkids referenced him in their official Haunted Tank vehicle dial from 2012. Thank you.
