As I was a goin' over the far famed Kerry mountains… Sidestep. Highwayman automatically breaks away from single based figures.

I met with captain Farrell and his money he was counting. When Highwayman attacks an opposing character that is holding an object or terrain marker or is equipped with any type of equipment, he may use Range Combat Expert or Close Combat Expert for that attack.

I first produced my pistol… Running Shot.

…and I then produced my rapier. Blades/Claws/Fangs.

Head of a Lion, Goat, and Serpent: Flurry, but may make 3 close attacks instead of 2.

Deadly flame breath: Energy Explosion, Poison. When the Chimera uses either power, damage dealt is penetrating.

The prompt said a mash up of 2 things, but how about 3? There's a lot of mythological monsters that are a combination of various animals, but the Chimera always stood out. There's a reason her name is synonymous with hybrids and mixtures. I never udnerstood what the goat head was really adding to the creature though.

1) Goldfinger by Brennan IV - best villain of the franchise (sorry Blofeld) significantly more threatening than he looks. My only complaint is Oddjob not being Tiny but I played way too much Goldeneye back in the day.

2) The Mummy by Terrafirma Trash Tyrant - no Past or Mystical keyword keeps him from rising to the top but I dig the grave terrain effect even though sarcophagi were enclosed and not (intentionally) buried. Still a nice take on a classic

3) Nightcrawler by Galadorian Amber Alert - best use of the prompt but has some solid competition to be definitive

HM- Musketeer by Friend of Alfalfa - narrowed out because it feels more Silver Age than apropos. C’est la vie

HM- Willy by Diet Sprite - by the time I reach his point value in years I am bound to look exactly like him without jaundice. That depressing reminder edged him out just by a smither

1 Dutch: Love the older interpretation of the character, and the "if it bleeds we can kill it" is really nicely implemented.
2 Baron Zemo: We've gotten a lot of Baron Zemos in clix over the years, and almost all of them have been excellent. So the fact that this one feels both potent and accurate without feeling like we're covering well-trodden ground is impressive.
3 Medusa: The Gorgon Stare is a really fun idea, and perfect for Medusa.

The 1995 Spider-Man Fleer Ultra “Arachnophobias” Scavenger card combines Young Vulture and Scavenger, and it’s personally my favorite-looking arachnophobias. It’s not just creepy, but sells the desolation of the character. You could almost see this thing existing as an actual character.

I based the dial on how Vulture regained his youth in Amazing Spider-Man comics— by draining it from others. That blended easily with Vermin’s cannibalism. I picture the Flying Rats not as bats, but as literal rats with wings.

Fun fact: in the 90s, both Vulture & Vermin were too much for Spider-Man. In the comic preceding “Web of Death,” Vulture poisoned Spidey with a virus so deadly that it briefly killed Spidey until Doc Ock cured him. During “Kraven’s Last Hunt,” we learn that Vermin bested Spidey once before, only for Kraven tp prove his superiority by watching Vermin best Spidey again.

Design Notes: You ever have an idea in the shower, and then you just kind of have to see it through? That's the story behind Miguel + Dracula. A monstrous version of a comic character seemed like a fun way to end the spooky month, so I got right to it!

DESIGN NOTES: You had me stumped how to continue the Castlevania theme, not gonna lie. Thank you for allowing me to continue my theme! I’m glad you guys have enjoyed it so far.

Michelangelo is the only one of these figures I’ve actually gotten my hands on, so I really wanted to be able to dial him. As you can see, Michelangelo is mashed up with The Mummy, and as such I’ve designed him to work extensively with his own version of The Mummy’s Curse. If you harm him, or he harms you, that’s a curse on you. And when you’ve got the curse, you’re taking more damage from Mikey’s pals.

So even though Mikey’s damage isn’t high, you may not even care about whether or not he deals damage with his attacks. He can’t break invulnerable, but he can still lay a curse on and let say, Raph or Donnie hit a bit harder on their attack.

Plus, Mikey’s curse heals him, adding some longevity to his dial. Michelangelo doesn’t hit hard, but he doesn’t have to. He’s here to curse his enemies and help his monster bros out.
