I have a quick question:
Is there a loophole in the Earthquake card, like if it goes off in the first round no one is affected since they are still in their starting areas?
Oh and coyotejack I only have 3 flyers, but I don't think the earthquake would hurt me as bad as the defenders, although it would sadly make Bullseye pretty useless

It's not so much a loophole as just the rules. Each player can not be hurt in the first turn as long as they stay in their starting areas.
So Earthquake goes off, if you are outside your starting area on first turn, you take damage, if not, you don't.
