It's 2017. The New 52 is over and Rebirth is the hot new thing! The Justice League and Suicide Squad have fought in a crossover. But as it ended, the aftermath resulted in Batman starting his own Justice League. Giving a chance for redemption for ex-villains, greatness for young heroes and presumably money for Lobo.

So anyways, the first issue is the new members coming to grips with being part of a team that apparently all either don't trust or just dislike each other. But they have to coexist when the Extremists come to Earth and take over a small country.

So this new roster is our build for this issue, and just in time as our Justice League theme event rolls towards the release of the Justice League movie!

Why these figures - For most of the roster they're some of the more recent versions. Like Ray (a non-KC version), Vixen, Lobo and Killer Frost. For Atom, it's the only version of Ryan Choi that exists. Which just left Canary and Batman to be selected to round out the team on points. And in the case of Batman, I didn't want to go too cheap for a version that's less than a hundred points.

Tips for running this team - Well, as this team doesn't have a lot of keyword synergy, you pretty much have to just take the figures as they are. But Atom and Lobo are the two folks you want to get up close to your opponents with. Atom's pretty much just a sacrificial tie-up piece, and Lobo's power is so crazy you might as well let him take a hit or two. Vixen and Batman have plenty of power options so you can choose depending on what you need in the given situation. And Batman's Outsiders TA should help you nerf modifiers on your opponents for Ray to zip around sticking and moving. If you don't just Pulse Wave with Canary.

I like the Lobo you picked, but the one that might be closer to the Justice League is the old Superman 042 version. He at least has the Justice League International keyword.

While most of the rest of your team is dead on, I don't care for your Batman choice. A much more accurate version is the Justice League 001 Batman at 75 points. He does have the Justice League of America keyword. I feel the old Out of the Shadows Batman is better then the one you chose.

I really like this team, always had a soft spot for a ragtag bunch that has to learn to work together, makes those victories feel earned and that much more sweeter.

Hadn't realized Ryan Choi had been clixed at all, I'd just gone withe OPkit Ray Palmer version.
