TRIVIA
The 200x series faced a lot of setbacks due to many names of their classic characters being legally unavailable at the time. Ninjor, Fisto, and Rattlor were renamed Ninja Warrior, Battle Fist, and The General for their toy releases respectively due to Hasbro having product in distribution featuring those names under other brands. Licensing rights come with timeframes so later releases of the figures were unaffected but this design pokes fun of that predicament.
Historically the inclusion of Snake Men spells doom for MOTU series. In the original toyline they were only featured in the final two waves and Filmation had shifted to PoP on TV so their tie-ins were as Horde members contradicting their origins from the mini-comics as antagonists to the Horde. The 200x series was cancelled after a second season culminated in the Rise of the Snake Men with the toyline canceled soon after. The Classics line fared better but it is an online direct to consumer platform thus negating risk. Determined to prove contrary, the latest Origins line gave us Snake Men right out the gate including army builders, unproduced concepts, and new characters, with previewed releases continuing the trend of the venomous villains’ inclusion. It has required a lot of setlist editing to fit them all in as most didn’t exist upon this thread’s creation but it’s further proof of the enduring nature of this IP as its universe continues to expand.

Prehensile Tongue: Force Blast as FREE. When he does the target is knocked back in a direction towards Tung Lashor and if they become adjacent make a close attack targeting that character. Flick: Super Senses, but only when targeted by a range attack.
TRIVIA
Tung Lashor is one of the most convoluted characters from MOTU. The original toy was from the second to last wave and after the cancelation of the cartoon. Similar to others from that release he was featured in She-Ra, although drastically different in appearance and as a member of the Horde instead of the Snake Men. The 200x cartoon also came with a heavy redesign. Much bulkier and with his intended afilliation, that toyline was also ended before Tung Lashor was produced. Several years later NECA (parent company of WK and hence HeroClix) released a series of mini-statues (staction figures) and we finally got this iteration in plastic as featured above.

TRIVIA
Quite a departure from the original cartoon, Malcolm in the 200x series was the brother of Duncan (Man-At-Arms) and the biological father of Teela. A prosthesis designed by his brother, it behaved like a jackhammer gauntlet. Although one of Eternia’s greatest swordsmen the action figure gave him a Clamp more akin to Clamp Champ in keeping with the snake wrangling theme of this final wave from that line. Jedi Knight Kit Fisto, which had toys on shelves at the time, was the reason the more familiar moniker was dropped even though the cartoon quite clearly called him Fisto. Of all the possible things to call him Battle Fist seems remarkably uninspired. That final wave was actually easier to find abroad than domestically, of which the back market prices are heavily reflective of, so the first trait is a nod to his nom deplume on the trilingual packaging.
