The more I think about it not scoring points for the generated characters is kinda strong since they come in on click 1. That’s a lot of clicks of life to get through so I think scoring whatever gets brought in is reasonable, likely twice the points paid. Fair enough? That’s a lot of posts to edit (27 to be exact) so give me some time but overall I’m happy with the mechanics I’ve introduced or expanded upon. Also need to update the front page to link everything (I hate housekeeping) so appreciate the patience.
As for the time being I’m going to slow down here and work on some other IP’s for a time.
One thing I’ve been thinking of is revisiting classic sets and giving them an anniversary follow up, kinda like a Mario Lost Levels or Director’s Cut where I add characters I feel should have been included while including updates or legacy cards for the more prominent characters they did give us. I may start an ‘in hindsight’ Pump It or Dump It to help me flesh out the selection so keep eyes peeled.
I also intend to do some Final Fantasy set lists. Just determining if I should give each series its own thread or go MEGA-THREAD like I have here.
Also on the bucket list is giving the other Filmation series the Iconix treatment.

Heavy: Only characters with Super Strength and a point value of at least 100 points may pick up or hold Dragon Turret. A character holding Dragon Turret can use IMMOBILE. A character holding Dragon Turret can use ‘FREE: place Dragon Turret in an adjacent square. ‘ Dragonfire: POWER: Place up to 4 Fire hindering terrain markers in squares within range. Each marker placed after the first must be placed adjacent to another placed marker. NOTES: The Dragon Turret would detach from the base as a 2x2 equipment terrain marker. The head could be placed on either side of the sculpt as a reminder of which side is Head and Tail. One of the coolest toy concepts of all time I hope this does it justice!
Fun fact: this thing has been all over my feeds lately. For a guy who somehow never thought He-Man toys had vehicles or playsets beyond Greyskull Castle, it's quite mind-blowing (and then I discovered Eternia Castle has a complete, goddamn monorail?! wtf?!). You did a straight-up excellent job transliterating this thing. I especially like how you've got its swivel movements down and made equipping the head optional. Real impressive stuff.

Oh the Eternia Play Set. It’s the holy grail of the franchise. Just the loose pieces of said monorail can go for hundreds of dollars. Mine is likely destroyed now but I’ll probably clean it up best I can bc acquiring it was a lifelong endeavor and I don’t have a couple grand to throw at it.
Mark Hamill portrays Skeletor in the Netflix Revelation/Revolution series produced by Kevin Smith. Much more competent than his portrayal in the original cartoon, he tosses out puns every other line and sounds just like The Joker whilst doing so, making the difference between those two characters almost non-existent, cheapening both IMO. There are plenty of characters to fulfill the comedic moments so why they chose to recycle B:TAS proves to me how little Kevin Smith understands the franchise. Don’t get me wrong, I thoroughly enjoyed it but where it fails it does so spectacularly and misses the mark on what made the Filmation series it supposedly continues so great. Death for shock value is still fridging regardless of gender and this series does it every episode. There are better ways to raise the stakes and remain true to the environment cultivated long before death as a plot device in children cartoons became a norm.

That description sounds incredibly Kevin Smith to me. And a lot like Netflix's producorial approach. Their Game of Thrones-ification of all properties is a big part of why I didn't bother with their live action Avatar: the Last Airbender series. Sounds like it too missed the point. Crazy that of all of these, only X-Men '97 understands what worked about the original, and the only thing it really changed was pacing and updating to even more modern topics.
