Breakdown:
-OR085 Starman is the golden-age hero who created the cosmic/gravity rod.
-SLOSH034 Starman is the golden-age Starman's son who became the new modern-age Starman.
-SLOSH033 Stargirl was given the cosmic/gravity rod by SLOSH034 Starman.
-SM007 Star Boy is the reincarnated version of police officer Matt O'Dare and the western hero Scalphunter. Destined to go back in time to become Starman. Becomes SM041 Starman.
How they played:
Lots of leadership and the JSA TA means that you need to keep them together in clusters. SLOSH034 Starman's top loaded 18 DV is what keeps the team hard to hit.
From a thematic perspective, it's a very cool team to field. The lack of outwit and low damage values means that you're going to have a very difficult time breaking impervious/invulnerability clicks. I completely blanked on using Stargirl's "Teacher and Student" trait which might've helped me land a few hits.
I played this team against a Legion of Doom theme team starring main set SLoSH Bizarro and main set SLoSH Solomon Grundy - probably two of the most difficult figs to battle in the game right now. And I rolled three (3) critical misses in a row. Needless to say, this was not Starman's game.
This team desperately needs outwit. I'm hoping that if we *do* get an Earth-2 set, there will be a new Ted Knight Starman and hopefully some sort of outwit with that. He is a scientist, afterall.
Other non-clixed figs that could be a welcome addition to this team:
-Mikaal Tomas (1970s Starman)
-Prince Gavyn (1980s Starman)
-Will Payton (1980s Starman)
-David Knight (Ted Knight's other son and Jack Knight's brother. deceased. became a black lantern. maybe's we'll see him in War of Light?)
-Farris Knight (Starman from the 853rd century - DC One Million)
-Kyle Theo Knight (Jack Knight Starman's son)
Also, this is a plug for James Robinson's excellent excellent Starman v2 ongoing series from 1994 - 2001. Read it and you will not regret it. I guarantee you.

Do you like DC comics from the 1980s? So do I. Check out: www.dcinthe80s.com.
Ted Knight - bystander - 6 pts
Stargirl - Rookie - 75 pts
Starman (Jack) - 95 pts.
Star Boy - 78 pts.
Star Man - 99 pts.
Shade - Rookie - 27 pts.
Power Plant w/ 5 Rings
This is my homage to James Robinson. The Power Plant is there to represent The Mist by using the Black Light Ring, but you could forego it to add Congorilla and a Blue Lantern.
Shade provides cover with stealth and willpower as well as being someone to carry with all the flyers.
Ted Knight has a deceptive 8 range for 6 points! Yeah its with a 7 attack, but he can drain rings to use Outwit or Vortex ring for a 3rd (or 4th) TK. He is also someone else to carry.
Barrier is one of my favorite powers, so I prefer the rookie Stargirl. It also allows her to copy Perplex of either Starman, or Pulsewave if Jack has pushed.
I think this would do better at 400 than yours at 500. The PP allows for the much needed Outwit, and the array of powers really does feel Mist-y. Hoping we get an actual Mist soon....
