Clix fans to Me! Today Dice Dice Kitty has another preview for the upcoming clix set, X-men: Xavier's School. We'll be taking a look at Chamber, Dust and AoA Jean Grey

These dials seem a little....underwhelming...compared to what’s already been previewed. Chamber at 50 would have been ideal as the headmasters should really be more points than the students.

Dust is ok, just a little tamer than what I expected from a unique super rare. No quake or exploit weakness is surprising considering her power set. I’d have happily paid 75 points for more options/accuracy.

Jean is the worst Chase thus far. Knowing my luck it’s the one I’ll pull. Maybe better than Angel (AoA), but she should be much more powerful considering her role from the storyline. If that defense power were a trait I’d be singing a different tune but I’d still play WatX GF Jean or M&M rare as those pieces would mesh better with the others. The older version could MC after running shot followed up with Outwit or Barrier. I’d trade flight for MC, Outwit and Barrier any day.

I'm happy that AoA Jean Grey has keywords! At 60 points, she'll replace UXM FF Jean Grey for sure.

60pt jean is really good, but not for a chase or super rare in my opinion. the 90 pt dial... what?

Being able to TK yourself makes her a lot better.

Yea, I am liking this Jean Grey. Her dial fits my style of play as tertiary attacker/support piece.

That free TK makes Jean deceptively mobile for her cost, in fact I think it's pretty rare her TK will be used as anything but self-placement. I think I prefer the 90 just so she won't be so easy to one shot, Regen and a plethora of free action options should make it pretty easy to heal-up/slip-away if they can't finish her off same turn.

all of these make me happy. Chamber doesn’t disappoint as a GenX student or team player for the X-Men, Dust has a lot of potential and I’d hafta say Jean is right up there with Iceman as my 2 highest wants of the chases, maybe even beating him out for the number one spot for all of her utility.

we need more people like you. that way i can trade for an iceman a lot easier.
