Eagle Eye: Targeting: Characters, Hindering Godly Aura: Artemis ignores opposing characters Outwit and Probability Control unless they have a higher point value or the Deity keyword. Mistress of Animals: Artemis possesses all keywords of friendly characters with the Animal keyword. If there are at least 100 points of friendly characters on the map with the Animal keyword Artemis can use Multi-Attack. Virginity: Friendly characters on their starting line can use Willpower. Characters on their starting line without an action token modify their defense by +1 Blessings From the Gods (15 point line) Epic: The Hunt Begins: Give Artemis an epic action and place a Hound of Artemis in an adjacent square if there are less than two placed by her on the map. This turn characters named Hound of Artemis may be given a move action as a free action. Without Equal: Charge, Flurry, Stealth. Goddess of the Hunt: Characters targeted by Artemis cannot use Shape Change or Super Senses for the action and damage dealt cannot be reduced below 2. These Fall Under My Protection: Combat Reflexes, Super Senses, Invulnerability. Adjacent friendly characters can use Super Senses Poachers Beware: When another character with the Animal keyword is KO'd heal Artemis of one damage and she modifies her combat values by +1 until the end of your next turn.

Quarry: Opposing characters adjacent to Hound of Artemis at the beginning of your turn decrease their combat values by -1.
For me that defense ability and the hounds are the real standouts here. I also appreciate Poachers Beware because it promotes using characters with the Animal keyword. Which could be really fun both within this set and when using outside heroclix characters.

The Strongest Shall Endure: Characters on your force that can use Super Strength or are holding an object increase their combat values by the printed amount and ignore terrain of the printed color on movement. Blocking terrain ignored in this way is destroyed. Whenever an object is used in an attack, after actions resolve roll a d6 and turn this dial forwards the result. It cannot be turned past the red line. If an action resolves and no character on your force is holding an object or can use Super Strength, remove Atlas: Symbol of Strength from the game.

Semi permanent outwit! That's quite something. I can appreciate the high defense values because he doesn't really have any substantial reducers. Mastermind seems to be a good choice for him. The Gift of Aeolus is a game changer. Characters on the precipice of a higher Charge value, like a character with a 6 movement (3 charge) now get to move 4 spaces with charge. Do that for an army and that really changes the overall value of your team. Overall I really like this dial. He's a little bulky in a sense that it will take a decent amount of work to kill him, but it doesn't seem out of the question or imbalanced.
It Holds Just Enough: Trojan Horse costs 10 points per 100 points of the build total. Before revealing your force you may choose one standard character per hundred points of the build total to be Surprise characters and place them inside Trojan Horse. When you reveal your force Surprise characters are not revealed, do not count towards your force, and are not in play until Spring the Trap has been activated. When Trojan Horse occupies an opposing players starting area or is KO'd, each Surprise character is placed in an adjacent square and you may take an extra turn after the current turn ends.
The irony of this piece is if you're playing the Trojan Horse, get the horse into the enemies starting area and spring the trap, only to find Odysseus on their team on his stop click. A surprise attack right into a slaughter lol.
Concerns: I see that the Trojan Horse says standard sized characters. But what about tiny size? I imagine they should fit. Even if there aren't any in this set it may be fun if mixing with other clix sets.
I'm also concerned about the build total idea here. So if I'm playing a 300 point game, the Trojan Horse costs 30 points. Ok. But then I pick three characters, with no point restrictions, I can pick Achilles, Heracles Prime, and Ajax. Now I've got hundreds of points worth of characters in the Horse. You say they don't count towards your force. Does that mean I ALSO get to draft 270 points of characters because the Horse only took up 30 points? And even if not. The Trojan Horse doesn't specify a price limit on who can be in the horse. So there's nothing stopping me from drafting three characters that exceed 300 points and hiding them in the horse. It's guaranteed that they will eventually have to come out because the enemy will eventually have to kill the horse. I think this dial needs a few restraints or specifications so it doesn't get out of hand too quickly.
Minor correction: Oposong in the Spring the Trap ability. Minor typo.

In regards to the captain ability, Jason will now need the Swim ability (right now he just has the normal boot symbol). Or we can expand the options for who is able to captain the ship and change the prerequisite to something more common in the set.
For the greatest crew of all time ability, should it be adjacent characters or passengers?
Finally, i'm a little rusty on vehicles, does it automatically have the ram ability because its a vehicle? If not, I think it should have that so it can ram through any enemies who are swimming in the water. And if I remember right, the attack of the ship would be the attack of the captain, right?

Odysseus wouldn't fall prey to his own trick now would he?
I added the word from your force to clarify exactly what you are asking. Since my design parameters favor Epic games (400+) let's use 400 point team as example. At 400 points TH is 40 points. You have 360 points left to build with, up to four characters of which can be Surprise characters hidden inside. Since your force is already built before you decide who goes in the Horse things like ATA's and effects that take place during force construction would resolve first.
Let's use Achaean figures for the sake of being thematic.
Odysseus 125
Hoplite 50
Diomedes 140
Villager 5
Orpheus 40
Trojan Horse 40
=400
Before forced are revealed I may place up to 4 characters inside TH. From that point things like theme team get declared and players roll for initiative. Surprise characters won't get counted for theme bonus (nor will they break the theme of characters still counted as on your force). Surprise characters that trigger other beginning of the game effects will not get used.
In this case I will choose that Odysseus is the only character not inside TH. Since TH and Odysseus both have the Spy keyword I have a theme bonus of 2 for initiative, although no theme prob since it's a generic keyword. If I pick the map I will try to have the clearest path to an opposing starting area, if not the TH cannot be attacked while i figure a way to get this huge dial across the map. Oppsosing player can choose to ignore TH and kill what's left while getting as far from their own starting area as possible, or may attack and most likely get two turns of retribution from a fresh force. Your opponent knows what's coming but the contents of TH remains a mystery until the trap is sprung.
Either condition occurs for the trap and I get two turns to retaliate. Characters now in play have no effect on theme anymore although they need the themed keyword if you want to use theme prob.
Standard characters seems to be the latest trend by WK. Not that Tiny wouldn't fit in theory, but without getting too wordy I felt it best to disqualify any non-standard character.
In regards to the captain ability, Jason will now need the Swim ability (right now he just has the normal boot symbol). Or we can expand the options for who is able to captain the ship and change the prerequisite to something more common in the set.

Jason is on my list to redesign. I didn't do his dial and besides the Fleece token I don't think the references to the other characters that already have dial representation is necessary for the greatest sea captain of the ancient world.
Speed value is determined before moving a figure and declaring passengers hence the free action ahead of time.
Let me mull over how to incorporate Ram and I will edit later

In Myth there are only 3 Gorgons including Medusa, their ruler. Medusa was the only mortal Gorgon, hence Perseus killing her. As one of history's most notorious monsters she should be a gem on the field. This is the wording I used for Perseus and got no complaints so I stuck with it. The others were children of Poseidon IIRC, but regardless the sculpt and design notes for MBP give them large leathery wings and sculpt elements not matching powers is a pet peeve.
We need to start a list of objects for the first post, whether generated by a character or randomly inserted.
Here's what I can remember from a 25 page thread:
Medusa's Head
Nemean Lion Hide
Golden Fleece
Pandora's Box
Calydonian Boar Hide
Whatever Marsyas plays Urobos or something
Apollos Lyre
Aegis
Wings of Daedalus
Ambrosia
Golden Apple of Hesperides
I'm sure there are countless others. Just chime in and I'll come up with whatever we're missing. Hephaestus is going to be so sick..,.

Wings of Daedalus
Ambrosia
Golden Apple of Hesperides
I'm sure there are countless others. Just chime in and I'll come up with whatever we're missing. Hephaestus is going to be so sick..,.
Ah I'll add this list as it is now and I'll see if there is any other objects to add onto it. Thank you! You remembered more than I could have!
I don't think anyone has yet to really capture the terror that is a Gorgon so here's my attempt.

Gorgon's Gaze: Plasticity. When Gorgon hits an opposing character or an opposing character misses her with an attack place a Petrify token on that character(s) card if there isn't one already. Characters with a Petrify token cannot be given actions, are ignored for movement purposes, and when they would clear action tokens remove the Petrify token instead. Blood of the Gorgon: When Gorgon is KO'd each adjacent character is dealt one penetrating damage. Dreadful Screeching: Incapacitate as if she has a range of 4.

Statue Garden: Targeting: Characters Gorgon's Gaze: Plasticity. When Medusa hits an opposing character or an opposing character misses her with an attack place a Petrify token on that character(s) card if there isn't one already. Characters with a Petrify token cannot be given actions, are ignored for movement purposes, and when they would clear action tokens remove the Petrify token instead. Shatter: Successul attacks against characters with a petrify token are critical hits. The Death of Medusa: When Medusa is KO'd deal each adjacent character one penetrating damage and place a MBP #S-101 Medusa's Head in the square she occupied. Lingering Stare: Penetrating/Psychic Blast. Hit characters are given an action token.
I like the consistency of Gorgan's Gaze between the two figures. I also really appreciate Medusa's numbers. Making Shatter an automatic critical hit also makes a lot of sense and is pretty unique. I am confused as to why she has Probability Control though. That one escapes me. I also really like the point cost. You can play Medusa and two Gorgans for 300pts. Nice trio there. Deadly.
