I decided to increase the amount of chases to 8 to reflect current set models which will help with play testing and rarity. Let me revise the set list before I put the final nail in the coffin for the first set.
UPDATE
Changed the set list to bring it up to 68 by changing all chases into duos. Since Weapon Rack and Creeping Horak are very unique in their respective mechanics I decided to move them to an OP Kit so as not to skew play testing. Since Title Characters are the latest craze I figured the set is He-Man and the MOTU so it deserves one. I wonder how easy coding book symbols will be. Anyone experienced PM me!
The STARTER figures are flavored like the AvX and the split dial mechanic makes for an easy 300 - 600 build with lots of variance and each figure shifts roles for their starting lines giving ample replay value as you mix and match for play style. I tried to scale them back and be more simple but maybe I need to clear a couple powers and curb some numbers. They look fair to me but point imbalance is an obvious and ongoing struggle with WK as well so think of it what you will.
I think the only thing missing from an inaugural set design is the CON-EX, so keep your eyes on the set list. I will wait to post it after I have finished the new slots I unwittingly made for myself so if anyone wants to guess what it'll be you have a few days before the drums roll.

A Tale of Two Worlds: Friendly characters that can use a printed team ability of He-Man & Superman can use all of their team abilities Weakness Compensation: PROTECTION: Outwit unless it is from the Superman Enemy team ability. They are not dealt damage from the Mystics team ability. From Eternia With Death!: STOP:Charge. When they do do not halve their speed value and they can use Improved Movement: Blocking (Destroyed) When Worlds Collide: When He-Man & Superman make an attack after resolutions Blades/Claws/Fangs as FREE. You Freeze, I’ll Punch: Incapacitate. When they do roll a d6 and KNOCKBACK any hit targets the result after resolutions. Damage dealt to the knocked back target(s) is penetrating until the end of the turn.
I’ve got a working formula now for random booster generation with a somewhat minor caveat: Equipment objects.
Option 1: Every figure comes with equipment (5 per booster, each object matching rarity of characters)
Option 2: one equipment per booster. May or may not be keyed to a character in the booster. Like ID cards rarity of each will need to be determined.
Option 3: WoL method, a CTD style one object per pack with its own rarity separate of the booster set. This means no objects at all in the booster, a conundrum since points were tipped in design for their inclusion.
Option 4: something else?
