Black Cat and Silver Sable can gain the Klingon keyword to give you theme, and the Lieutenant will give everyone Empower, meaning you can deal some serious damage with your close attacks.
There are probably a couple different permutations you could build of this team, but I think the Lieutenant is probably the most important piece here.
"Let me put it this way. Have you ever heard of Plato? Aristotle? Socrates?"

Good suggestion. I'll add this to my "possible roster" list.
This is the idea I'm presently considering for a tournament later this week. Non-modern get appropriate point discounts so this one adds up to exactly 250 points.
One important factor is that Invisible woman and Human torch have selective knockback, and She-hulk's super strength brings even more knockback. This chaos and board control could bring lots of fun and excitement.
White tabs only, with no primes is one of my favorite formats. I actually like it better than Pulp, due to no highlander rule. Detective theme team with Leadership, Prob, Outwit, Perplex, 18 Defend, Passenger:4 taxi, TK, Empower, Enhancement and some stealth to block LoF.

So I took the team above and when I got there I realized that only main set white tabs were allowed. No fast forces or microsets, like the "Deep Cuts" F4. Fortunately I had some backups, which is why I try to bring alternates and backups.
So I subbed out the two F4 Deep Cuts (Johnny and Sue) and subbed in the Siren from Bioshock. It still turned out to be a decent team, but the basic mechanic I was building for was the knockback Johnny and Sue generate.
I would still like to play that build at some point.
By the way, She-hulk landed one, count 'em ONE, hit the entire three round tournament, and two crit misses. But hey, I got the van!
