Things pulled from the matches.
Annihilation Wave getting twice the actions is hard to overcome.
Outback Hulk usually suoer hard to kill went down quick.
Steppenwolf and Brutall are great together.
Kree Dr. Minerva and Rogg just wow.

I thought we established last time that results needed to be posted and needed to be posted on time to count.
making the deadline is part of the way we keep ourselves accountable to the rules and just as importantly, ensure mikkisaur is able to keep to his deadline of establishing the canon on time. fair is fair
there's been plenty of times folk have still posted results well after the deadline so we can still see what happened and write-ups are always welcome to read after the fact, but we need to stick to the deadline for results
While I understand this argument, the deadline is there so that when I sit down to tabulate the results, I can justify ignoring anything posted after the fact.
Since my goal is to include as much input from the players as possible, the official cutoff point is whenever I sit down to finish up the results, which won't be earlier than the time I listed as the results deadline. I know some people can only get together to play these games on a Saturday, and playing and posting all at once can be overwhelming, so i'd like to accommodate them as much as possible.
But there are times when I know I can't finish this article up on Sunday, so I finish it late saturday night after the result deadline.
Finally, I don't think any of the late results actually affect anything this week.
Yeah, I'm new, but I don't know if we need to be super-sticklers about result-counting deadlines. I thought the point was mostly to do some fun storytelling.

It is, though he deffinately isn't being a stickler. I get being excited looking at results, going to bed assuming you have won, and then seeing a reversal the next morning after the deadline expired. So I will post the bar going forward for when I drop the deadline.
subjectively, there's a personal stake in this. most of the matches seem clear. now thanagar is up in the air. if i'm taking a licking all week long, that's one thing. I put on my bigboy pants and take my beating. but when I get beat off panel or after the bell rings, it's not exactly fair. I got to bed thinking "awesome, this worked out" and wake up to a sucker punch
objectively, it's not about being a stickler, it's about fair. i'm busy, too. this week was very packed professionally and personally. I still played all the matches, posted results through the week, did my writeup and even added bells and whistles of pics and photoshopping to help it out. and I made the deadline. heck, thegoodreverandjlang got married this week and he still posted.
even if you don't have time to do a writeup, a simple run down of your team and points doesn't take much time to do, especially if you put it in as you finish matches. the writeup can come later, like how docsilence does it. the designating cut off post will help things, but I got to tell you, two turns in a row of getting scuttled by exceptions to the rules I consistently keep is very frustrating
as for missing lynk, thanks for this image:

Fair enough. I'm sure I'll get that feeling at some point, especially if the Warbound of Sakaar become their own independent planet and I start getting invaded. No offense intended, Baron!
